Elizabeth DelRicco
Children have been my motivation to continue to strive to be better. Hello, and welcome to the official Little Bubble Child Care, LLC website! I am the director, Elizabeth DelRicco and I am so excited to share my journey with you!

I started volunteering at a child care center in 8th grade for community service hours needed for my Confirmation into the Catholic Church. It was the perfect community service project because it was right across the street from my house. After I had acquired my community service hours, I decided to keep volunteering. I would go to the daycare after school and help out wherever I was needed until closing. During the summer, I was there early and would stay until the end of the day, most days. When I got to high school, I played Field Hockey the first two years in the fall. I remember being relieved when the season was over because I could go back to the daycare.

In high school, I started getting more responsibilities with creating lesson plans. The owner of the center opened up an in-home childcare program and asked if I would come with her. I agreed and went between the two daycares after school.

I started attending trainings and I had started working on my Preschool Certification in my Senior year. I was also taking college courses in high school. When I graduated high school, I was hired as an aide for the in-home daycare and a substitute for the center. Shortly after, I obtained my Preschool Certification and I started pursuing two programs at the College of Southern Maryland, AAT in Early Childhood Education and AAS in Early Childhood Development.

After years of faithful service, I made the difficult choice of leaving the daycare to start a new chapter, being a nanny to a family with four amazing, intelligent, kind, and fun children.

Nannying is so much fun and it is very different from what I was used to, but the children are my world and I have loved them and learned so much.

My contract with them ended and I decided to start my own in-home childcare program, so here we are!

I graduated with my AAS in Early Childhood Development in the Fall of 2024 and continue to work on my AAT in Early Childhood Education.

I am one of the founders for the child care association for St. Mary's County. Early Childhood Organization of Educators for St. Mary's County - ECHOES was established in Nov 2022, where I was nominated for Head of Committees. We are a growing organization that strives to connect Early Childhood Educators around St. Mary's County and offer support, training, and a safe place for those educators. I continue to hold the title of Head of Committees and was nominated State Director in Jan 2025. Holding the office of State Director will likely be a temporary position, but I will proudly hold the office as long as necessary while other arrangements are being made.

I am recently married - Dec 2024, with a Golden Retriever, and two aquatic frogs. I teach Religious Education at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church on Sundays during the school year.
